ALMAzônia - 3rd Edition
In 2021, Camila developed the ALMAzônia project (@almazonia_eco), an expedition in the Amazon region, where the textile artist, at the invitation of Jardim da Amazônia, Eco Lodge located in the south of the Amazon, raises awareness among her clients, artists and students in addition to her studio. It is a very strong ambiguity between man and nature. Therefore, the designer felt like making her research “nest” there and taking people to understand “in situ” what is happening on our planet. “Everything is connected and our free will, conscious or unconscious, will lead us to irreversible causes and effects if we do not change the course of our choices.”
